Tianwa Yang's virtuosity and exuberant temperament are tailor-made for the youthful and non-conformist First Violin Concerto. The Second Violin Concerto, with its flaring Hispanic character, also suits Tianwa Yang, who is a Sarasate expert, very well. She succeeds in bringing out the concerto's folkloristic, dance-like note. The ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Jun Märkl provide a lively accompaniment to the concerts.
