Angelika Möser was born in Vienna. She studied musicology in combination with commerce, theatre studies and history at the University of Vienna and graduated in 1993. From 1992 to 2003 she worked in the artistic operations office of the Wiener Konzerthaus. From 2003 to 2015 she was General Secretary of Jeunesse Austria, responsible for around 650 concerts per year throughout Austria, with a focus on promoting young talents and programmes for young audiences. From 2015 to 2022, she was director of the Arnold Schönberg Center Vienna, a public cultural and scientific centre.
As a member of the Vienna Singverein, Angelika Möser has been musically active since 1989.
Since November 2022 she has been Artistic Director of the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra.
